Echoview 17 is coming soon! Building on more than 30 years of hydroacoustic software development, the upcoming release introduces a range of enhancements designed to make data processing workflows more efficient and easier to manage.
The Dataflow window is the core of Echoview’s data processing workflow. As projects grow, processing chains become more complex and challenging to navigate. Echoview 17 introduces several improvements designed to make Dataflow workflows easier to organize, troubleshoot, and maintain.
First, objects can now be aligned more easily. Whether you're building a small workflow or a large processing chain containing dozens of connected objects, it's now easier to keep Dataflow layouts organized and readable. Objects automatically snap to an invisible grid as you move them around the Dataflow window.
We've also made it easier to identify potential issues within a workflow. Variables that contain warnings are now visually marked in the Dataflow window, helping you locate and investigate problems more quickly.
Finally, the Dataflow Toolbox is now docked directly within the Dataflow window. This creates a more integrated approach for discovering and creating new objects.
Together, these enhancements help streamline day-to-day work in Echoview and make it easier to manage increasingly sophisticated processing workflows.
Echoview 17 will be available for beta testing in the coming weeks, and will be officially released later in 2026.
