Echoview 17 is coming soon! Building on more than 30 years of innovation, the upcoming release introduces a range of enhancements designed to support your data processing needs. Our team has been preparing the next set of capabilities, and this latest sneak peek takes a closer look at one of the new additions on its way.
Echoview continues to expand support for instruments and data formats requested by the community. In Echoview 17, we're adding support for Tritech Gemini imaging sonar *.glf files.
Gemini systems are used across a wide range of applications, including fisheries research, environmental monitoring, infrastructure inspection, renewable energy, navigation, and security. Support for Gemini data brings another important imaging sonar platform into the Echoview ecosystem.
By incorporating Gemini data into Echoview workflows, users will be able to take advantage of Echoview's visualization, detection, classification, analysis and export capabilities within an advanced processing environment.
This addition reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the evolving technologies being used throughout the hydroacoustic and underwater observation communities.
Tritech raw data is displayed in the top left panel, while the bottom left and right panels show the results of Echoview’s built-in algorithms, which can be used to delineate and track fish over time.
Echoview 17 will be available for beta testing in the coming weeks, and will be officially released later in 2026.
