The Annual Science Conference (ASC) is the flagship event of ICES, bringing together marine scientists from across the globe to share research, exchange ideas, and foster collaboration.
More than 700 participants are expected, including scientists, institutional leaders, policymakers, industry representatives, and students from Europe, North America, and beyond. The conference program will span core areas of ICES science, with sessions on ecosystem science, human impacts, emerging technologies, and conservation.
Hydroacoustic Specialist Dr. Chelsey McGowan-Yallop from our Science Team is looking forward to connecting with attendees and discussing how hydroacoustics (active acoustics) can provide vital insights into aquatic ecosystems.
