Echoview at Fish Passage 2026

Fish Passage 2026

Fish Passage 2026

We’re looking forward to exhibiting at the International Fish Passage Conference 2026, “Headwaters to Sidewaters to Estuaries”, taking place May 4–8, at the University of California Davis, Campus Conference Centre.

The conference brings together experts from academia, research, consulting, non‑government organizations, and government agencies from around the world to discuss fish passage across engineering, biology, and fisheries management.

Hydroacoustic Specialist Dr Haley Viehman from our Science Team will be available to talk with participants about turning water‑column echosounder data into meaningful, actionable information.

About Echoview

We specialize in hydroacoustic software and science, supporting the research and management of aquatic ecosystems.

Echoview® is our hydroacoustics data analysis software, widely trusted by scientists, environmental managers, and consultants for interpreting active acoustic data across a broad range of applications. These include fish passage monitoring, fine-scale behavioral studies, stock assessment, habitat classification, and ecosystem-level investigations of fish, zooplankton, and vegetation.

Echoview supports robust, defensible analysis workflows, turning raw echosounder data into powerful insights. Whether you’re working with scientific single-beam or multibeam echosounders, or recreational fish-finders, Echoview supports over 75 echosounder file formats from 18 manufacturers. The software is compatible with a wide range of deployment platforms: moving or stationary, surface or submerged, crewed or autonomous.

Beyond software, we offer services to support projects at any stage, whether you’re just getting started or working on long‑term programs. Our consulting services range from targeted advice on echosounder selection and survey methods through to complete hydroacoustic data solutions (data collection through analysis). We also offer training courses in echosounder data processing, designed to build practical skills and confidence in working with active acoustic data.

We work with a wide range of organizations across the global hydroacoustic community, including government agencies, non‑government organizations, research institutions, consultants, commercial fishers, and environmental managers in more than 70 countries, supporting efforts to sustain healthy fisheries and aquatic ecosystems.
