Supporting waterway science at 12ASM

We are proud to be a silver sponsor of the 12th Australian Stream Management Conference (12ASM) taking place 6–9 September 2026 in Kingscliff, New South Wales.

Hosted by the River Basin Management Society, this year’s theme, “Living and evolving with change”, recognizes the continued advancement of stream management practice and the science behind it. The conference brings together industry professionals to better understand, manage and restore waterways and catchments across Australia.

We’re looking forward to connecting with delegates and discussing the challenges and opportunities facing managers of rivers, lakes, reservoirs and estuarine environments across Australia.

How we can help

We are hydroacoustic software and science specialists helping organizations better understand aquatic environments. We help researchers, consultants and environmental managers turn active acoustic data into actionable information for assessment, management and decision-making. Whether you're new to active acoustic methods or an experienced user, Echoview's products and services can assist at every stage of a project.

Our highly experienced team works across applications such as fish population management, fish passage, habitat studies, environmental assessments, conservation, and long-term observational programs. From hardware selection and survey design through to data analysis and reporting, we work with organizations to develop scientific approaches tailored to their objectives.

Software, science and expertise

Our flagship software, Echoview®, is used worldwide to visualize and analyze echosounder and sonar data from more than 75 file formats across 18 manufacturers, collected from moving or fixed, surface or submerged, and crewed or autonomous platforms. Echoview brings together tools for data calibration, cleaning, echogram review, target detection, classification, measurement and export, helping users transform raw acoustic files into defensible results.

Based in Tasmania, Australia, we combine consulting, training and scientific expertise to help organizations maximize the value of their acoustic data and make confident, evidence-based decisions.

Visit us at 12ASM

Representing Echoview at 12ASM will be Briony Hutton, Chief Scientist, and Haley Viehman, Hydroacoustic Specialist. Together they bring extensive knowledge in fisheries acoustics, aquatic assessment, acoustic data analysis and survey design, and will be available throughout the conference to discuss practical approaches to data collection, analysis and management.

Whether you're planning a new aquatic survey program, evaluating acoustic technologies or looking to gain more value from existing datasets, we'd be pleased to discuss how Echoview can assist.
