Registration is now open for Echoview fundamentals training at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Campus de Gandia, Spain over 26–30 Oct 2026.
This five-day, in-person course provides hands-on training in echosounder data processing using Echoview, led by Dr Toby Jarvis from the Echoview science team.
Designed for students, researchers, and professionals interested in scientific echosounding, the fundamentals course provides an overview of the theory and practice of echosounder data processing for studies of aquatic ecosystems, with a heavy emphasis on narrowband single-beam data.

- Cost:
◦ EUR 2,400 per person standard rate; EUR 1,900 per person student rate.
◦ Student grants available: Additional student grants (accommodation or registration) will be available through the Zunibal-UPV Chair. To apply, please indicate your request in question 14 when submitting your registration and you will be contacted for further information. Grants will be awarded based on the applicant's CV and financial need.
