FSBI 2023 Symposium

Echoview Software is pleased to be a sponsor of the Fisheries Society of the British Isles 2023 Symposium, “Fish habitat ecology in a changing climate”, in Essex (UK) from 24 - 28 July.

The 2023 Symposium is a collaborative effort between the University of Essex and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries, and Aquaculture Science (Cefas). It brings together scientists from diverse disciplines to foster collaboration and showcase cutting-edge research in fish habitat ecology, delving into the intricate interactions between fish and their environment.

The symposium will encompass a variety of themes including fish biogeography, habitat management/restoration, social-ecological connectivity, food web dynamics, and One Health. These topics are intricately linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (e.g. Climate Action, Life Below Water), and emphasize the crucial roles and services that fish provide.

We are excited to showcase our software solutions for processing and interpreting hydroacoustic data. Our flagship product, Echoview®, has established itself as a comprehensive and adaptable solution for hydroacoustic data processing.

Trusted by scientists, fisheries professionals, and environmental managers around the globe, our software empowers users to visualize and analyze their data for a wide range of applications. These include fish stock assessment, fish passage analysis, fish behavior studies, and habitat classification.

Echoview has compatibility across a wide range of active sonars and echosounders, accommodating diverse configurations on both mobile and stationary platforms, in marine and freshwater environments. Echoview users can confidently unlock valuable insights and make informed decisions based on their data.

Our dedicated team of experts is constantly refining and expanding our solutions to meet the evolving requirements of fisheries science and management.
