The 24th International Seaweed Symposium is for the first time being held in Australia.
Echoview Software is proud to be exhibiting at The International Seaweed Symposium (2023ISS) in Hobart, Tasmania from 19-24 February 2023.
Tasmania is a global hotspot for seaweed diversity with >750 named species with many endemic species.
The 24th ISS committee has chosen the theme ‘Seaweeds in a changing world’, to focus on ongoing changes in seaweed aquaculture practices, industrial processing, future products and markets, local and global environmental change, and scientific advances that can change our understanding of how seaweeds function at all levels of organisation.
Come say hi to Tim and Haley and find out how Echoview can be used to visualise, explore, and quantify analysis from hydroacoustic data for research, and management of seaweed for ecological/biological studies, environmental studies, habitat mapping and commercial seaweed farming. Take a look at sample vegetation data recorded using hardware from WASSP Multibeam (ENL Furuno), Kongsberg Maritime Mesotech (M3), BioSonics, Inc. (DT-X) and KONGSBERG Gruppen (EM2040) to see Echoview’s capabilities in action.
We look forward to catching up with our colleagues, partners and friends and participating in this wonderful event.
