We are pleased to be collaborating with BioBase LLC, a leader in cloud-based automated aquatic habitat mapping, to support their upcoming product EcoFish.
Launching in early 2025, EcoFish is a new fish data and mapping layer that will provide game-changing insights into fish populations by delivering detailed data on the location and number of fish and other targets in waterbodies mapped using Lowrance® and consumer Simrad® sonars.
EcoFish is powered by Echoview's advanced capabilities and seamlessly integrated into BioBase’s existing platform. This integration combines Echoview Software’s automated data cleaning and target detection expertise with BioBase’s powerful mapping tools, creating a seamless experience for fisheries management, research, and conservation. Key features include:
- Fish Count Data: High-resolution maps and data exports offering near real-time insights into fish distribution.
- User-Friendly Tools: An intuitive interface designed for both experts and non-specialists.
- Automated Reports: Data summaries with basic statistics and charts detailing fish location, number, and depth.
