We are excited to be attending AQUA 2024 at the Bella Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark held between 26-30 August.
AQUA 2024 is organized by the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) and takes place every six years, with previous events held in Nice (2000), Florence (2006), Prague (2012) and Montpellier (2018).
The event features a scientific conference, trade exhibition, industry forums, workshops, student activities, and receptions. It will showcase the latest advancements in aquaculture research and innovation, to support the ongoing growth of this food production sector.
Chief Scientist, Briony Hutton, will be available to discuss Echoview® and how it can be used to support offshore and inland aquaculture management and research.
Echoview can visualize, investigate, and quantitatively interpret both single beam and multibeam hydroacoustic data collected in net pens, ponds and other aquaculture installations. It transforms this data into actionable information which can support environmental monitoring, improve feeding efficiency, understand aquatic animal behavior, estimate size distribution, calculate biomass of aquatic organisms, and more.
Echoview processing can be applied in near-real time to data as they are collected, or saved for later analysis back on shore.
If you’d like to schedule a meeting with Briony during the event or arrange a catchup nearby, please reach out to us at info@echoview.com.
