Echoview Software was once again proud to take part in the annual Clean Up Australia Day business day
Clean Up Australia Day is an annual community event to encourage people to join together and donate their time to clean up and preserve Australian environments.
This year it was held on Sunday 5 March and more than 11,000 events registered their commitment with over 750,000 volunteers joining in to support.
Over the past three decades, more than 20 million Australians have participated in Clean Up Events across the country.
This year staff at Echoview Software cleaned up the Five Mile Beach area. Together, we collected and disposed of over 25 bags of rubbish, 6 tyres and 1 microwave. We were so pleased to be able to support the health of our much loved local waterways. Together we can all play a part in reducing the 130,000+ tonnes of plastic that leak into our marine environments annually.
There are many ways we can all step up and support solutions which move us towards a circular economy – where everything is a resource, and there is no such thing as waste. Refuse. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Compost. Many small steps make a big difference - together we can all be part of the solution.
