Echoview at the ASLO–SIL Joint Meeting 2026

Echoview-ASLO-SIl-Joint-Meeting-Echosounders

We look forward to exhibiting at the ASLO-SIL Joint Meeting, taking place 12–16 May in Montréal, Québec, Canada.

ASLO–SIL brings together researchers and practitioners working across freshwater and marine systems, including between inland waters, coastal zones, and the open ocean. The joint meeting provides a forum for sharing methods, perspectives, and insights across limnology and oceanography, from fundamental research through to applied ecosystem science.

Echoview Hydroacoustic Specialist, Dr Haley Viehman, will be available throughout the meeting to talk with participants about how hydroacoustics can be used to investigate aquatic systems in a wide range of settings.

About Echoview

We support aquatic scientists and practitioners by helping turn active acoustic data into powerful insights across freshwater, marine, and estuarine systems.

Echoview® is our hydroacoustic data analysis software, used in applications such as fish passage monitoring, fine‑scale behavioural studies, stock assessment, habitat classification, and ecosystem‑level investigations of fish, zooplankton, and vegetation. It supports transparent, defensible workflows that move from raw echosounder data to metrics suitable for comparison across studies, systems, and time.

Our industry-standard software supports 75+ sonar and echosounder formats from 18 manufacturers, including single‑beam and multibeam systems deployed from stationary or mobile, surface or submerged, crewed or autonomous platforms.

Alongside software, we provide consulting services and training services to support projects at any stage, from methodological advice to long‑term monitoring programs, helping teams build confidence and capability in hydroacoustic data analysis.

Echoview works with research institutions, government agencies, consultants, and environmental managers in more than 70 countries, supporting efforts to better understand and manage aquatic ecosystems.
