We are delighted to be a sponsor of the Asian Fisheries Acoustics Society Annual Meeting (AFAS2024) taking place in Nagasaki, 4-7 November.

AFAS has been successfully organising annual meetings since 2007 when the society was established in Dalian, China. The meetings have played a pivotal role in advancing the fields of fisheries acoustics in the Asian region.

This event includes presentations, poster sessions and discussions around four topics: acoustic technology, theory and target strength, acoustic application, and offshore wind power and next-generation aquaculture.

With almost 30 years’ experience in hydroacoustic science and software, we are looking forward to meaningful discussion on acoustics related to fisheries management at AFAS2024.

Echoview®, our premier product, is recognized globally for its comprehensiveness, flexibility, and reliability in hydroacoustic data processing. It is compatible with data from a wide range of echosounders and sonars, with configurations on both mobile and stationary platforms.

Echoview empowers users with the ability to visualize, explore and analyze data, facilitating comprehensive studies of both the water column and seabed, supporting a wide range of hydroacoustic research and projects.

Chief Scientist, Briony Hutton, will deliver a presentation on our latest developments, and will be available to discuss Echoview hydroacoustic data processing. Sales Manager, Rowland Washington, be able to address any enquiries around Echoview licensing, training and consulting and client services.

We invite attendees to visit our table, explore our software, and connect with our experts to learn how Echoview is driving innovation in the fisheries sector.
