Invitation: Active Acoustics Hackday

Echoview Tasmania Waterfront
8 January, 2024

Registrations are open for the Active Acoustics Hackday in Tasmania, Australia this March

Monday March 25: Active Acoustics Hackday

Time: 10:00 am - 05:00 pm AEDT
Venue: IMAS Waterfront Computer Lab (subject to change): Hobart, Tasmania
Information:
New to active acoustics and have data you need to process and work with? Learn from experienced active acoustics experts and get more out of your ADCP and echosounder data. This event is designed for anyone looking to improve their knowledge and capability level when working with active acoustics data.

Example active acoustics data will be provided and you can work on whatever subject is most interesting or relevant to you, from sediments to fisheries to biomass. We will be looking at ADCP and echosounder data collected from a variety of deployment methods, including bottom mounted and glider deployment.

Unlike a traditional "hackday," this event is about learning and collaboration. There will be no competition, but rather an opportunity to present on growth and achievements at the end of the day.

We hope you will join us for a day of collaboration, learning and echosounder excitement!
