We’re excited to be exhibiting at the 1st International Technology in Fisheries Symposium from April 14–16 in Liverpool, UK.

Hosted by the Institute of Fisheries Management, this symposium will bring together leading experts, practitioners, technical specialists and policymakers to examine how emerging technologies are transforming the monitoring, management and protection of aquatic resources.

At our exhibit we’ll be showcasing Echoview®, our hydroacoustic data processing platform used by scientists, fisheries professionals, and environmental managers in over 70 countries. With broad compatibility across single-beam and multibeam echosounders, ADCPs, and imaging sonars, Echoview supports a wide range of aquatic applications, including stock assessment, behavioral and ecological studies, aquaculture, and environmental monitoring.

Hydroacoustics Specialist, Dr. Chelsey McGowan-Yallop, will be presenting an overview of active hydroacoustics as a tool for fisheries monitoring and research, focusing on how emerging technologies such as wideband echosounders, autonomous platforms, and lower-cost recreational grade hardware are expanding how and where data can be collected.

Chelsey will be available to discuss Echoview software, as well as our other offerings including specialized training, consulting, and other client services options.

We are looking forward to catching up with our friends at BioBase LLC who will also be exhibiting.
